Dr Howard Fisher explains......
"We have all heard the expression Enzymatically Alive and people are expected to understand what that really means. Here’s a little hint.... it is the reason why vegan vegetarians who are aware of protein, B12 and iron are so healthy. Enzymes are an intrinsic part of human physiology and every reaction in the body take place because of enzymatic activity. Enzymatically Alive refers to the enzymes, which are self-contained in plants, still being functional and not denatured. All raw plants contain sufficient enzymes to ‘digest’ themselves so that the body can easily absorb the nutrition they contain. Heating anything above 104 F degrees causes the enzymes to denature and lose their ability to break down the food that contained them.
When many growers produce nutraceuticals such as Moringa oleifera they do not take the time to hand pick and shade dry the different parts of the tree. The growers save time and money by buzzing down the tree and throw it into a dryer (yes above 104 F degrees) that immediately changes the physiological activity levels and effectiveness in the body."
To ensure the highest quality possible, all of Zija’s Moringa trees are grown on proprietary farms in India. They are organically raised without chemicals, harvested carefully by hand, and then shade dried, ensuring that essential Enzymatically Alive Nutrients remain intact. We use all of the most beneficial parts of the tree – the leaves, the seeds and the fruit – in our unique line of products.
